Oh wait never mind

First off, let me just say that I am so excited I got all these pictures uploaded in the order I wanted on my first try.

Second off... yeah. A mere hours, HOURS, after saying "maybe not BA maybe" I finally found inspiration for Sovereign City.
See, I kept telling myself, "Mandi, if you're gonna be a masochist and join another damn OCT, join SC. You know/like the people running it and you'll have more fun with it". "But Mandi," I whined. "Who can I enter? I may have a story ABOUT superheroes, but they all have to much baggage to be any fun in an OCT!", to which I responded, "I don't know, Mandi, but I'm telling you you'll like this one more."
Anyway, then I stopped talking to myself and made a whole new character.

Her name is Astrid Stays and she doesn't have a superpower but she DOES have a baseball bat and fists and a love for JUSTICE.
Her superhero name is "The Slugger". Because she has a baseball bat. She didn't come up with it.
This is her semi in costume, btw. Apparently I'm going through an obsession with slicked back hair and facial injuries.

STINKY ICKY HOBO \o/
Because fighting crime doesn't pay! \o/
After giving up on trying to keep a paying job and a crime fighting hobby at the same time, she devoted all her time to her heroic antics. This means she is homeless and penniless.
She's a relatively unknown, small time hero... if she were more popular maybe she could sell lunch boxes and action figures but hey. She doesn't have time for that.

(I've always loved homeless super heroes, you guys. I have a whole story about them. I'm completely serious right now.)

Here she is in costume. Sorry. In "costume". Raincoats aren't really flattering to her figure, so she generally is taken as a dude. Actually, she's a hobo who doesn't have a figure, so she's generally taken as a dude when she's out of costume too.
... yes, I did intend for her to look more like a terrorist than a superhero. :]
She's been heroing for eleven years (or so; could change after the oct gets up more info) and may have had a better costume when she started out (she had a legit, paying job at that time).

My handwriting is like a secret code, but if you can crack it there's the end of a timeline in there too.

Seven years of sleeping on park benches may have made her a little bitter and unfriendly.
Eleven years head injuries may have made her a little nutty.

Over the years she's gradually become more Slug and less Astrid. She's become a lot less careful about keeping her secret identity secret, but since she's a small time hero and a nobody homeless citizen, this isn't really a big deal.
She's been recognized a couple times out of costume. Fortunately it's only been by people she's helped and not people she's gotten arrested so far.

If I do go through with this, it'll be the third character I've entered in an OCT with that same round face. THEY'RE EASIEST FOR ME, GUYS. 8|

I've never created a character FOR an OCT before. It's probably gonna break my heart when I change my mind AGAIN and decide not to enter, or don't get in, or do get in and lose, or even win the whole thing BECAUSE WHERE WILL SHE GO THEN?

Also, I've made a heterosexual female character and I should be proud, but I'm not because I intentionally made her look manish. Sigh.

On one final note, I'm gonna make a foreshadowing comment here and say that she's much more powerful than even SHE knows. 8]
